I made a new aim name last night. That isn't so exciting.

What is surprising is the process of transferring one's buddy list.
You have to find an aim client that will allow import/export of lists, which apparently hasn't existed for some time (especially for those of us superior beings on macintoshes - Praise be to Steve).

What wont work: Adium, Ichat, AIM-AOL 2

What will work: AIM for mac from 2004.

Had a friend over last night. He was going to stay over / have me drop him off in the am. I headed to bed at 12, and he's not quite ready / wants to watch tv. No sweat, right?

Packing up to start Eddie's birthday party this morning. Recieved excellent advice to stay in bed as long as possible, which was enacted earlier. Consider buying a new comforter / blanket thing. After about 10 it gets hit with the sun streaming in and I end up sweating. No fun.

In other news, car is fixed, and I've missed pride in sf this weekend (sorry RobCoreyMikeDoronWilliamBenAndCo). Lazyness and roomie obligations prevailed. That, and drag queens scare me.

How many of you guys have ever started your career over?

I've been thinking on this topic a lot lately (a scary one, to be sure), and I'm not entirely sure how to make this happen. Moreover, I'm not even sure if this does happen in the real world, or if it's a notion that only applies to ex-auto workers or med-school dropouts.

Classically, one would go out and purchase a fuckton of education. Seems reasonable. Yet, this comes with a lot of cost-related danger. What if you arrive at a new and equally dissatisfying equilibrium? Icky.

Anyhow, I wonder if any of you guys have ever thought about this sort of thing.

I had a really fantastic time out on the track, even if it was rather dauting at first. No mishaps, lots of speed. Would buy again.

The other day I looked down and realized that, in fact, I have received the Stigmata. Wow!

Funny how life works out. One day you're minding your own business, doing your thing at the gym and BAM -- you're the 2nd coming of Chris.

Party to celebrate at my house? Clothing optional / sandals required. Don't worry about bringing your own wine... I've got that covered. Magic hands, ya know?

Note to self: Buy gloves.

Last night I met Charles at the gym. His shoulders have been hurting so we decided to pick a workout that more-or-less focused on legs. Some discussion occurred on what that would look like, and we quickly arrived at an answer: just run 10k.

So... we did just that. I've never run more than 3.5 miles or so. 6-ish is a tall order.

Long story short, I finished in 53minutes. Now I'm limping.

What fun! I might even do it again.

Today I found out that I might really be a republican! I was watching FOX news and they had article about how bush talked to the NAACP and how they had finally understood his message. And then it occured to me that sometimes you just have to listen harder. Once I considered this I realized that our president is only concerned about our well being. Given this I have conclude that his drive to protect marraige must be the right thing to do, and that I must be on the wrong side.

I ask you to join me in my new found support for our president!

Anyways he clearly has the right vision in mind.

Vish, Agri, and I headed up to Scott's farm in VW on saturday and the result was much partying. Too bad Vish got a bit out of control. A quick backhand (or three), and he got right back into line.
